Resturaunt- The Ninety Nine (99)

Recently I went to the Ninety Nine, a family resturaunt/ sports resturaunt with my family (Of course). I guess I should start at the beginning, the resturaunt is idealy located and has a large parking lot, it did not seem that full from the number of cars at the resturaunt. When I walked in with my family the Maitre dei was standing at her podium and to my amazment the resturaunt was packed with sounds of people yelling, televisions almost everywhere, I thought it was a sports bar! We were quickly seated at a booth, it looked almost brand new, no holes or scratches could be seen, at the booth was salt and pepper, ketchup and sugar packets at the end with napkins with a fork and a knife at the proper placement. A few minutes passed by, then our waitress approached us, asked us how our day was going and took our drink orders, it had begun.

The waitress took our drink order, but she had no book, just her mind, I ordered a Mountain Dew, my mother a diet coke, and my father a beer of some kind. A few minutes passed by, not bad time for a packed resturaunt, she came back with tray in hand and handed us our drinks, then left again for about ten minutes and came back to order our food. The menu was a decent size with pictures, I ordered the Barbeque Turkey Tips, my mother, ordered balsamic salmon and my father I just can't remember. Another ten minutes passed by and I looked around the resturaunt, the bar was packed, loud and the televisions were also loud. The waitress returned with my Turkey tips, but my mother got Teriyaki chicken instead of her Balsamic Salmon, she said it was alright but I feel that we should have been offered something, I think it is worth noting that all of our meals had different shaped plates.

My meal consisted of six mediume sized Turkey Tips with fries as a side, the Tips were very flavorful, but were charred on the grill, an had a smokey smell. I ate all of the Tips, and after ward we ordered Mozzarella sticks, I think the waitress cut that from our check. The Mozzarella sticks smelled of fresh parsley, they had a somewhat crunchy outside and a stringy, gooey inside, there were to many sticks to count so I split them with my parents and decided not to have a dessert. I would reccomend a couple go there, perhaps some friends, but not really suited well for a family, to much noise, almost like a bar. In conclusion, the noise and service was questionable, but the food was good and I had a fun time, and when it comes down to that, it's all that matters.

School Food Critic Review

Items- Lemon Tart, Boisenberry Pie

Lemon Tart- Strong lemon flavor, very sweet, thin crust but also crunchy, very intricate flavor.

Boisenberry Pie - Sugary crust, somewhat frozen, soft and chewy crust, good flavor, somewhat subtle but still good, but has a bad aftertase.
